The Questions Most Families Forget to Ask
After 30 years of experience, we assembled the questions that reveal what brochures never show you. Take this list into every tour. Ask them all.
Cost & Contracts
Financial clarity upfront prevents painful surprises later. These questions reveal true costs.
- 1What is included in the base monthly fee — meals, housekeeping, laundry, activities?

- 5Is there a community fee or move-in deposit? Is it refundable?
- 6What care level am I currently assessed at, and what are costs at higher levels?
- 7What happens financially if my loved one runs out of savings?
- 8Is there a written contract? Can I have it reviewed by an attorney before signing?

Care & Staffing
The quality of care depends entirely on the people providing it. Ask these without apology.
