For many, transitioning to a more manageable space means sacrificing square feet and storage. Our expert team will help you sort through and organize your possessions. Through meaningful questions and conversations, a Move Manager will help you identify which items you'd like moved. We will advise on space and quantity considerations, but respect that the decisions are yours to make. Many of our clients are overwhelmed with mail and general paperwork. Don't waste time sitting at your small shredder! We offer secure bulk shredding — free of charge.
2. Space Planning
New spaces and existing furniture don't always jive. Our Move Managers will hand measure your new space and existing furniture to help you create a scaled, two dimensional floor plan. This important step saves time and money while helping you visualize and understand your new space. Our clients find this helps them better define how they might use their new space and allows us to identify potential issues in advance. Feel the need to shop for new furniture for your new space? 3. Packing & Supplies
Moving boxes, packing paper and tape — it's just that simple. Our team is trained in best practices for packing everything from fine china to over-sized art. Each box is labeled with the client name, contents, room destination as well as the initials of the team member that packed the box. Don't run to the big box store! We stock and bring all the necessary packing materials.
4. Oversight, Logistics & Coordination
Moving is stressful! We will work with you to expertly manage the calendar of move related activities. From booking and overseeing Milwaukee's most trusted movers, to ensuring your current home is ready for closing, we are by your side. Our network of trusted professional resources help us bring your project to completion. A Gift of Time will professionally manage third parties on your behalf.
5. Unpack & Set-up
Let us quickly unpack and set-up your new space so you can enjoy it immediately. By the time we leave, your TV and computer work, your bed is made and your food is in the refrigerator. We take all the packing materials with us. We will also schedule time to assist with placing and hanging art.
6. Collaboration
We are experienced collaborating with family members, senior communities, real estate professionals, stagers, estate sale & auction companies, private wealth / trust officers and attorneys. We work with many great, local professionals, and are happy to offer resource referrals.
