Step 1: Free One Hour Consultation
We visit your home to assess your needs, discuss your timeline, and provide a detailed estimate — at no charge. We will ask about your timeline, what matters most to you, and where you are headed. You will leave with a clear sense of next steps, no guesswork.
Step 2: Customized Plan
We create a personalized senior relocation or downsizing plan tailored to your specific needs, timeline, and concerns. Space planning and scaled floor plans are created so you know exactly what will fit in your new home before move day.
Step 3: Pre-Move Prep
Working alongside you, we sort, organize, and pack your belongings. We supply all packing materials — boxes, paper, and tape — labeled with contents and room destination. We also coordinate donations, disposals, and secure bulk shredding of sensitive documents.
Step 4: Moving Day
Our professional team handles all loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking coordination with Milwaukee's most trusted senior transition movers. Your Move Manager oversees every detail from start to finish.
Step 5: Home Setup
We fully unpack and set up your new home the same day as your move. By the time we leave, your bed is made, your food is in the refrigerator, your TV works, and your pictures are hung. All packing materials are removed.
Step 6: Follow-Up
You can rely on A Gift of Time for any post-move needs as you settle into your new space. Whether it's additional organizing, artwork placement, or simply a check-in, we are here for you after the move.
